One of the things I learned late in life is the opportunity a new day presents to us. There is a tendency for us as individuals and believers to think that those things you failed to get, achieve, accomplish or obtain on a particular day are over just because it did not happen on that day. However, we can take a page from the Book of Lamentations. The writer shares with us that God’s mercies are new every morning. Therefore, if something runs out yesterday, you have a new opportunity to receive brand new mercies on the next day. It is good to know that each day creates an opportunity for new things to happen. I praise God for his new mercies. New mercies make it a brand-new day.
