Pastor Curlee L. Adams
Paston Curlee L. Adams is a product of the Chicago public school system and the Chicago housing projects. He is a graduate of Dunbar Vocational High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northeastern Illinois University and a Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University. In October, 2004 he accepted his call to the ministry at Carter Temple CME Church. Feeling the need to prepare himself further, he enrolled into Garrett Theological Seminary on the campus of Northwestern University where, in May of 2009, he graduated with his Masters of Divinity Degree. In August, 2005, he was ordained Deacon. In 2007, he was ordained Local Elder and in 2009 Traveling Elder by Bishop Paul A.G. Stewart, Sr. In 2010 at the SE MO, IL, WI Annual conference, he was admitted into Full Connection. Pastor Adams is presently enrolled in the Chaplaincy Program at Rush Hospital in Chicago, Illinois working towards his CPE certification.
From August of 2010 – April of 2012, Pastor Adams served as Presiding Elder of the Cleveland/Pittsburgh District and Senior Pastor of Patton Memorial CME Church of the 2nd Episcopal District. In April of 2012, he was assigned to Saint Paul CME Church of Chicago, where he serves as Senior Pastor and Dean of the Leadership Training School for the SE MO, IL, WI, Region.
Personally, he is married to the former Lisa Johnson and they have five children; Brittney, Isaiah, Katia, Kayla and Malachi, and one grandson, Cameron.
J. L. Scott
Mr. Scott graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management from West Chester University. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. In his current role, he serves as the Department Head for the Indirect Lending business with Pawtucket Credit Union, based in Rhode Island. Throughout his career, he has worked in underwriting, credit and financial analysis and retail branch banking.
Mr. Scott has dedicated his time and service to the church for over 15 years. He has served as the church youth program leader and Sunday worship team leader. He has also worked as a Christian summer camp counselor and youth mentor.
Mr. Scott has also been involved in other service, civic and business organizations including Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., The Lions International, National Urban League, Chamber of Commerce, INROADS, Inc., American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Foundation and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Most recently, he has committed his time and support to two major endeavors; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and No Kid Hungry. He currently resides in southern New England with his wife and attends Calvary Chapel Church.
Pastor Wallace C. Scott
Pastor Wallace C. Scott has been a minister of the Gospel since 1988 when he was originally licensed to preach the Gospel in the city of Pittsburgh, Pa. Pastor Scott received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He also attended the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pa. Most recently, Pastor Scott completed his studies to become an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of North America to serve God with his wife, Dee Scott, who is an ordained Deacon in the Anglican Church. Pastor Scott and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have one daughter, Dayna. Pastor Scott and his wife are also the proud owners of 2 dogs and 2 cats.
