Prayer Challenge 356

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6(NIV). This is a well known scripture; one that has been a foundational passage for me since I was a teenager.  Some say, in its simplicity, that life is a series of daily choices. When I choose to surrender my life to Him, I know that I can walk in His will with confidence!

That is why I started the Prayer Challenge 356. Under the hashtag #prayerchallenge356, it is a call to all believers to unite in daily prayer.  I challenge everyone to stop at 3:56pm each day and join us in a moment of silent prayer.

Let us stop and pray...

...for thanks to The Most High for His grace and mercy;

...for His sustained love and compassion;

...for forgiveness in a world broken by sin;

...for those lost who do not know the Savior, Jesus Christ;

...for perseverance to the first responders, doctors, nurses and all medical professionals who sacrifice every day for the love and care of others;

...for our teachers and their tireless commitment to our children

...for healing of the body, spirit and mind;

...for strength of togetherness for our families and communities.

Please join us.  I am asking that everyone to take at least one (1) minute to pray. Why? We all need prayer. We believe in the power of prayer. We know that God hears and answers prayer! In the New Testament, Jesus tells us, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:19-20.  Join the Galilean Ministries #prayerchallenge356 ~ gather with us, stand united with us and pray with us!
