In our chosen text, we come to the story of the spies who were sent out to explore the Land promised to the Israelites by way of Abraham. Moses sent these men out to see about the Land and what they needed to do to occupy the land. After completing their mission, several of the men came back with a negative report, while Caleb came back with a positive report. Why was Caleb’s report different from the others? I believe it had something to do with his perception. Caleb’s perception was based on his faith in God, while the others perception was based on their own strength and might. When we allow God to lead and guide us, our perception about live challenges should change. “If God be for you, who can be against you.”
