In the movie, “Facing the Giants,” surrounds a high school football team and its coach. Despite year after year of losing, pressure from parents, administration and the community, the coach commits to the making the season a success. Though his players are focused on winning, the coach chooses to inspire them by playing in a way that brings honor to God, first!
Psalm 37:5 reminds us that true peace comes when we place our plans, desires, and burdens into God’s hands. To commit our way to the Lord means we stop carrying everything alone and trust that He is actively working on our behalf. What feels delayed to us is never outside His care or control.
This verse calls us to trust God not only with outcomes, but with the entire process. As we Focus on Jesus, we yield our timeline and expectations to Him. We learn that His faithfulness is steady and His help is sure.
Peace & Blessings!
