Ever have your patience tested? Really tested? How much patience does it take while waiting for a new job opportunity after being laid off for a significant period. Job applications go unanswered for weeks at a time. You feel like your time and efforts don’t yield any positive results. All the while, you don’t know how you are going to pay your bills or feed your family.
There are seasons when hope feels fragile and the road ahead seems uncertain. Yet the words written by Paul in Hebrews, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” calls us to hold firmly to hope, not because we are strong in ourselves, but because the God who made the promise is good. His goodness is steady, even when life feels unsteady. He does not change with our circumstances, nor does He forget the words He has spoken over our lives.
The Lord is faithful in every season—present in our waiting, tender in our weakness, and constant in His care. When our hearts are tired, His goodness becomes the anchor that keeps us from drifting. When we Focus on Jesus, we can rest in Him with quiet confidence, knowing that the One who promised is kind, trustworthy, and always true to His word.
Peace & Blessings!

Prayer: Father, thank You for being so good and so faithful to us. When our hearts feel weak, help us hold tightly to the hope we have in You. Remind us that Your promises are sure, Your presence is near, and Your love will never fail. Teach us to rest in Your goodness each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
