Ever feel like you are the only one? The trials you are facing. The hardships that life seems to drop in to your lap. Every time you look around, it just feels like one more thing! Herman felt like that, often. The only boy in his family and after his parents passed away, the family including his 2 sisters looked to him for answers, comfort and resolve. He spent many days trying to hide the pain and burden he felt. He didn’t want anyone to think “less” of him or face some stigma he had created in his own mind. Sound familiar?

As men, we often feel the weight of responsibility—whether it’s providing for our loved ones, leading with integrity, or making decisions that shape the future. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by uncertainty and doubt. Psalm 9:10 reminds us that when we truly know God’s name and character, we can confidently put our trust in Him. He is faithful and never abandons those who seek Him. No matter how heavy our burdens may seem, God stands by us, offering strength, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Trusting God means releasing our grip on worry and surrendering control, knowing He will never forsake us. When we seek Him in prayer and lean into His promises, we discover a peace that carries us through life’s toughest moments. Today, make the choice to trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness. Let Psalm 9:10 encourage you to walk boldly, assured that the Lord knows your needs, hears your prayers, and will never let you walk alone.

Trusting in God means you don’t have to worry. You don’t have to carry the burdens of life alone. When you Focus on Jesus, He is the one who will bring you peace; reminding you that you will never have to walk alone.
