How do you view reputation? On one hand, someone with a “good” reputation can lead to opinions of trust. Someone with a “bad” reputation; however, can lead to questions of doubt and skepticism.

Luke, in chapter 19, wrote about a known wealthy chief tax collector by the name of Zacchaeus. As Jesus was entering Jericho, Zacchaeus wanted to see who Jesus was. When Jesus noticed him, He told Zacchaeus that he would go to stay with him at his home. At hearing this, people watching were concerned that Jesus was going to stay with a “sinner.” In response, “Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What do you believe is your reputation? What might your family and friends say about you? Have you ever cheated someone or been dishonest; called a “sinner?” The truth is we are all sinners in God’s eyes! Paul wrote “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ~ Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When we Focus on Jesus ~ we can come to Him, as a sinner, and seek His forgiveness. He loves each of us and because of His love, He died on the cross to save our souls. That is true love!

Peace & Blessings!
