What motivates you to do what you do? Is it recognition, money or love? Paulís letter to the church in Corinth challenges us to make sure that whatever we do, we do it out of love. Love should be the driving force by our actions, words and deeds. I once heard a song writer say, ďit donít mean a thing if you ainít got that swing.Ē I believe the song writer was telling us that it really doesnít matter what you bring to the table. If you donít have the swing, you donít really have anything. I believe this is what Paul was trying to tell the church in Corinth. It doesnít matter what gifts you bring to table. If you donít have love in it, you are just making noise and no music. Let love be the driving force behind whatever you do for God, others and yourself.
