04-20-2021 - John Scott | Philippians 4:6-7

Many of us suffer from trials and tribulations that take our peace away. We become confused and disoriented from the issues that bog us down. The ending result of all this is that we lose our sleep, patience, and joy because of something we cannot control.

However, in Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi, Paul gives us a wonderful remedy for ensuring that we have peace in all circumstances. He reminds us first to pray, second be thankful and last make our request known to God. This approach will lead to a peaceful existence with man and God. Knowing that you can put your problems in the hands of an All-mighty God should allow you to sleep better at night. The battle is not yours; it is the Lord’s battle.

Amen!
