04-13-2021 - John Scott | 2 Timothy 1:7

As I look at the news every day, you cannot help but panic because of the many people infected and dying from COVID-19. I watch as people pilfer the grocery stores, hardware stores and everything else they can stock up on in their home. People are panicking about what they think will happen in the future. When we panic, this can elicit various behaviors and actions on our part; thus, causing one to do something out of impulse or emotions.

As believers, we can trust in the Spirit of God that dwells within us. Even in moments of uncertainty and fear, God can help sustain us and maintain us, so as to live a life that is not always panicking but trusting in God.

To God be the Glory!
