09-08-2020 - John Scott | Philippians 2:13

One of my new year’s resolutions back in 2016 was to start working out. The purpose, of course, was to get in to shape. I was at a point where I was not only looking bad on the outside, but also feeling bad on the inside. When I first started working out, I didn’t notice the change right away. However, over a period of time, I began to see and feel the difference.

Paul, in his letter to the Church in Philippi, shares with them the purpose behind the indwelling of God’s Spirit. God’s Spirit dwelling in you is working things out for your good and God’s purpose for your life. It is the work of the Spirit in you that helps you do mighty things for the Lord and bring glory to Him. Therefore, my brothers, keep letting God’s Spirit work in you.

Amen!!
