Do you have big dreams? In your quiet moments, what do you wish for? If you are like Jimmy, it is a question all of us have asked ourselves since the beginning of time. Is it a job – like the usual professions that kids dream of, doctor, lawyer, police officer, fireman, astronaut? Those sound familiar to most of us, right? Really think about it; go deeper. Now Jimmy, in his words, says he has been amazingly fortunate to have seen several of his dreams fulfilled. No matter the obstacles, life’s challenges, finances, etc., he was determined. Along the way, his determination was blessed. He was a first-generation college student; the first in his family to graduate college with a bachelor’s degree. He owned his first home before age 25. He traveled out of the country. He even bought his dream car.

For me, my dream, has been to minister to others. I have served as a youth leader, summer youth camp counselor and now, writer and published author. Today, I have the privilege of being a contributor writer for Galilean Ministries to minister, encourage and support men.

BE MORE … Be a Dreamer! Do not be held captive by how people feel about who you desire to become. In Jeremiah, we are told “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11. Never be discouraged in doing well for in due season, you shall reap your rewards is you stay persistent and faithful. Seek validation only from God and proof from God. Dream and make your dreams reality. Always know…No one can change the plans God has for you. YOU ARE A GIANT IN JESUS CHRIST!
