One of the easiest things to do I believe is hold a grudge against someone who has hurt you or harm you. The hardest thing to do; however, is not hold a grudge. God calls us to forgive those who sin against us. In forgiving others, we unlock the forgiveness of God in our lives. The power of forgiveness can do so much for those who receive it. This is what I believe God is trying to help us understand. When you hold grudges, you give the person power over your life and future. However, when you forgive them, you remove their power over your life and unlock the power of God in yours.
