#BeMore - Confident

02-26-2020 - John Scott | Philippians 3:14-15

There is a saying we use. "Life is full of choices." Here is another one. "We are creatures of habit." What does that say to you? For me, much of what we do mentally is based on habits; built up over time. In the end, we have to choose and be wise, responsible and thoughtful. Each day, we have choices and opportunities. Always go with your gut and first thought. The residual result always benefits you in the end.

Today, it looks like too many folks settle for the easy options rather than making the best choices because you care what others think. Doing the right thing is always the right choice and the hard work truly pays off. Many of us made emotional decisions rather than practical decisions.

Paul, in a message to the Philippians, stated "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you." (Philippians 3:14-15) The fact that it`s a visceral reaction, at times that causes us to react in the moment, oftentimes causes us to go for escape rather than finding our peaceful place. Stand still and know that God is right there; even in adversity.

Today, Be More - Confident. It’s important to stay focused on trusting God and His control over the outcomes rather that raw emotions. Each day, each decision, when we trust it into His hands, we will find ourselves on the right path!
