In our chosen text, we come to the words expressed by the Prophet Habbakuk. Habbakuk, was a prophet during the final days of the Assyrian Empire and the beginning of the Babylonian rulership of his people. Habbakuk’s issue was how could God allow someone more evil than his people to gain rulership over them? When we get to chapter three, Habbakuk had come to grips with what has taken place and begin to speak confidently about what his God can do. These words of assurance would ultimately speak prophetically about his situation and his people. Regardless of where you find yourself in life, know that God is working things out for you.
