03-14-2019 - John Scott | John 9:1-3

How many times does someone need to ask you before you do something for them? Typically, asking is the prerequisite for getting something done or getting what you want. However, we as Christians are always challenged to do good even when we are not asked.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus passed by a man born blind. The first inclination is to do nothing unless the man asked for help. However, Jesus told his disciples that some situations take place so that the works of God can be realized. Jesus was teaching His disciples to not wait to be asked so that good can take place, but to be on the watch out for it so that God can be glorified. As you continue on this Christian journey, remember to always be on the lookout for things to do in the name of Jesus. To God be the glory!!!
