Nobody likes to wait on something. If you are in a Restaurant, Grocery Story or Movie Theatre, nobody likes to wait too long. The world will tell you that there are no rewards for waiting. If you want it, go get it now. Yet, Isaiah encourages his readers to wait on the Lord. I am not saying one should not go after those things in life they need; however, God though Isaiah, reminds us that at some point we will have to wait on the Lord. When you have done all you can do, let God take over for you. Your job is to wait on God to do what God has been doing throughout history. The outcome will be one where you are replenished and not drained.
Amen!
