Have you ever been in a battle were your life was at stake? In our chosen text, Paul encourages and I dare say challenges his protégé Timothy, to live a life that is pleasing to God. He points out the importance of fleeing from the things of the world and pursue after the things God. The way this is done is by fighting the good fight of faith. Sometimes in life you are going to have to fight for your Life, Peace, Joy and Deliverance. In other words, you will have to fight for it. When you fight the good fight of faith, you are letting the enemy know that this is not your day and tomorrow is not looking good either.
