How many can recall being chosen for a team, competition or award. The moment when you discovered you were the choice, several emotions came forward. For to be chosen symbolizes something about you and the entity making the choice. Some people might call this being “singled out.” Well, in this scripture, God is reminding His people that He has chosen them and made them his own special treasure. When you reflect on this in greater detail, this should cause you to celebrate. Treasures are to be cherished and taken care of on a daily basis. I thank God, He chose me to be one of His treasured choices.
