Humble Beginnings

11-23-2021 - John Scott | Psalms 95:6

I have been often told that how a person starts something in many times is an indication to how they will end. Whether this is true or not, I do believe that our relationship with God is predicated on how we choose to begin. In the 95th Division of Psalms, the writer challenges us to come before God in a certain way before asking, complaining, or requesting anything from God. We must always come before God in a humble way. This humility is one of the great components of our worship of God. When we humble ourselves before the Lord, we are saying that the Lord is the author and finisher of my faith. To God be the glory!!
