One of the most harmful things we can do to ourselves is doubt our potential. Here in the text, Moses is being called by God to challenge the oppressive rule of Pharoah. Pharoah has held the Egyptians captive and it is Moses’ job to set them free. But like many of us, Moses does not feel that he is qualified to live into the calling over his life. Yet, the Lord provides provision for Moses to live into his calling. He gives Moses, his brother Aaron and a staff. These would be the very mechanisms that will help the Egyptian captives become free.
Today, I invite you to meditate on those areas in your life that you have been fleeing from. You know deep down that God has called you to write that book, start that business, accept your ministry calling, break generation curses, or do something else that God has called you to. Despite knowing you’re called, what have you done? You put the project on hold. You told God maybe next week, next year, or next month. You may have told God that you are not qualified for the position. Here’s a newsflash, God does not give God’s call to perfect people! God calls those who have a heart to serve!
To #BeMore, you must accept the call on your life. Don’t look left. Don’t look right. God has called you and given you the tools to succeed. The question is, will you start today, or will you wait to #BeMore?
